August 30, 2008
The Fort, Taguig City
Philippines

The most anticipated reunion of the Philippines’ version of the Fab Four, the Eraserheads was cut short due to lead vocalist Ely Buendia’s collapsing backstage during the intermission in the first of the planned three- set extravaganza.

The E-Heads front man who survived a heart attack last year and whose mother died two days before the reunion concert was rushed to the Makati Medical Center and was later transferred to the Philippine Heart Center where he is now reported to be in stable condition after being pronounced to have suffered from “physical and emotional stress” in the days leading to the concert was diagnosed with hypokalemia which is a condition where the potassium level in the blood is low.

The Eraserheads, composed of Ely Buendia, Marcos Adoro, Buddy Zabala and Raymond Marasigan, gained prominence in the 1990s and broke up in 2002 and became the Philippines’ most successful band ever. They decided to reunite for a one night gig at the Fort in Taguig City, Philippines and played to an estimated audience of 20,000 t0 40, 000 fans before the show was abruptly ended.

The band issued a statement shortly thereafter that they’re looking forward to hold another concert in the future once Ely Buendia recovers from his illness.

Heres's the E- Heads set list:

Alapaap, Ligaya, Sem-Break, Hey Jay, Harana, Fruitcake, Toyang, Kamasutra, Kailan, Wag Kang Matakot, Kaliwete, With a Smile, Shake Your Head, Wag Mo Ng Itanong and Lightyears.
